In navratras, aloo and sabudana can be cooked together in several ways. This fry can be made using very less ingredients yet tasty.

Ingredients to make Aloo sabudana fry

  • sabudana - 1 cup
  • water for soaking - 2 cups
  • Boiled potatoes - 2 big
  • ghee - 2 tspn
  • cumin seeds - 1/4 tspn
  • red chilli - 1
  • Aamchur powder - 1 tspn
  • chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 tspn
  • sendha namak - 1 tspn

How to make Aloo sabudana fry

  1. SOAK SABUDANA IN WATER FOR HALF AN HOUR
  2. DRAIN WATER AND LEAVE IT TO DRY FOR 1 HOUR
  3. CUT BOILED POTATOES INTO PIECES
  4. HEAT GHEE, ADD CUMIN SEEDS AND RED CHILLI
  5. ADD AAMCHUR , CHILLI AND PEPPER POWDER ONCE THEY SPLUTTER
  6. WHEN THE AROMA COMES, ADD THE POTATOES
  7. ADD SENDHA NAMAK AND SAUTE
  8. CHECK IF POTATOES LEAVES OIL, U CAN MASH THEM ALSO
  9. ADD THE SABUDANAS AND MIX
  10. CHECK IF THE SABUDANAS HAVE BECOME TRANSPARENT.
  11. COOK ON HIGH FLAME FOR 5 MORE MINUTES AND SWITCH OFF.
