ABOUT DRY FRUITS STUFFED MODAK RECIPE

It is a favourite sweet of Lord Ganesha,i changed the authentic ingredients and made it with besan (bengal gram flour),it tastes awesome

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Bengal gram flour 2 cups
  2. ghee half cup
  3. Cane sugar half cup
  4. cardamom powder half spoon
  5. chopped cashews 1 cup
  6. chopped almond 1 cup
  7. chopped pistachio 1 cup
  8. mould for making Modak

Instructions

  1. heat a frying pan and add ghee
  2. when it melts add Bengal gram flour
  3. in low flame stir continuously about 8 to 10 minutes
  4. after getting the Aroma transfer it into a plate
  5. Sprinkle some cardamom powder and make it cool
  6. in the meantime mix cashews, almonds , pistachios and little bengal gram flour for stuffing
  7. When the bengal gram flour mixture become completely cool, add Cane sugar to it
  8. make a dough by kneading it
  9. now take the mould
  10. brush a little amount of ghee inside the mould and put the dough and press it
  11. put some stuffing inside the mould
  12. seal it with some mixture
  13. now take out the modak
  14. Serve it
