Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. besan 2 cups
  2. baking soda half teaspoon
  3. salt as per test
  4. black pepper powder one spoon
  5. asafoetida one pinch
  6. carom seed powder half spoon
  7. water as required
  8. oil half cup + for frying(as required)
  9. machine for making gathiyas

Instructions

  1. heat half cup of oil in a pan and turn off the gas
  2. then add half spoon of baking soda and salt to it
  3. mix it well
  4. Take besan in a bowl
  5. add the oil mixture to it
  6. add black pepper powder, asafoetida ,and carom seed powder
  7. add water and whisk it
  8. make a thick batter ( soft dough)
  9. put the batter in the machine and select the design of your own(preferably small holes)
  10. heat the oil in a frying pan
  11. move the handle and besan mixture will come out automatically
  12. Fry till golden in colour
