ABOUT Chitai pitha RECIPE

Its a bengali traditional dish made of rice floor.Popularily made on festive of makar sankranti.Serve with dates juggery.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice flour 2 cup
  2. Warm water 1 to1 and 1/2 cup
  3. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  4. Salt 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients
  2. Add water on tawa
  3. So that chitai came out easily
  4. Put some batter on tawa
  5. Cover it
  6. After few minutes sprinkle water
  7. Take out chitai
  8. Serve with dates juggery
