Ingredients to make Besan ke Khadai

  • Gramflour 4 cups
  • red chilli powder 3 tsp
  • salt as per choice
  • Green chilli chopped 4
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • oil 1 and 1/2 tbsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • A handful of coriander leaves

How to make Besan ke Khadai

  1. Add water in besan and mix it properly so that there are no lumps left. Add in salt, spices and mix it well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, crackle in cumin seeds, then add gram flour and mix it well.
  3. Next add onion and chopped green chilli. It should be cooked till the besan stops sticking to the pan, now add the chopped coriander leaves in it.
  4. Grease a plate and immediately spread the khadai. Cut into desired shapes when it gets cooled.
  5. Enjoy it as a snack.

My Tip:

A tasty and easy dish. You can also add in buttermilk and enjoy it as khadai ka raita.
