Ingredients to make Chicken Cafreal

  • chicken 1 kg
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • butter 1 tbsp
  • 1st marinade
  • ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • 2nd marinade
  • fresh coriander leaves 1 small bunch
  • Fresh ginger 2 inches
  • garlic 14-15 flakes
  • khuskhus 1 tbsp
  • Pepercorn 10
  • cinnamon 2 inches
  • cloves 6
  • cumin 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • tamarind small ball
  • green chillies 10

How to make Chicken Cafreal

  1. Cut chicken in 12 pieces. Wash, sprinkle salt rub, ginger garlic and the first marinade.
  2. Grind the second marinade. Apply to the chicken and leave covered in the refrigerator for over night or minimum one hour. Heat oil, add butter and allow to melt. Now add marinated chicken pieces, stir well for 5 minutes on high heat.
  3. Now add remaining marinate water and simmer for 10 to 15 mintues.

My Tip:

Add butter little more for better flavour.
