ABOUT Idiyaappam RECIPE

This is the treditional south indian dish.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 cup rice flour
  2. 1 1/4 cup water
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1 tsp oil

Instructions

  1. Firstly in a kadai take water and also add salt and oil.
  2. Stir well and get water to boil further simmer the flame and add rosted rice flour.
  3. Mix continuously till the dough is formed.
  4. Now turn off the flame,cover and rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Further more ,with wet hands knead and combine together.
  6. Be careful ,as the dough is going to be very hot.
  7. Now take noodle mould and fix to chakli maker.
  8. Grease the chakli maker with some oil.
  9. Now make a cylindrical shape out if dough and place the inside maker.
  10. Keep covered the rest dough else they will turn hard.
  11. Tighten the lid and start preparing idiyappam on the greased idli plate press in circular motion.
  12. Further steam it for 10 minutes.
  13. Now it's ready for eat,serve with tomato kurma.
