Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Sarso leaves 1kg
  2. Spinech 1/2kg
  3. Fenugreak leaves 100gm
  4. salt to taste
  5. green chilly 8-10
  6. garlic chopped/paste 2-3spoon
  7. ginger 2-3tsp
  8. Rdchilly 1tsp
  9. Maze flour 250gm
  10. Desi ghee 2-3tsp
  11. butter for garnish
  12. radish for salad
  13. buttermilk 1ltr (for 5people)
  14. onion 2midium sized
  15. water as required


  1. Wash all green leaves sarso spinach fenugreek leaves and chop it and ready ginger garlic and green chilly for paste
  2. In a presser cooker add 2glass of water and bring it boil and add chooped leaves in it add ginger garli and green chillies and 1-2tsp of salt in it
  3. Cover the lid and cook it for 20min on low medium gas
  4. Stain water and boiled leaves in a bowl and grind all leaves
  5. After grinding leaves sieve one bowl.maze flour and mix it with the water we seperate frm boiling leaves make a better and add in grinded leaves add some more water in it and cook it for 5-10min on low heat
  6. Chop 2midium sized onion and some garlic cloves and small piece of ginger and heat desi ghee in a wok and make tempring add this tempring in saag and cook for five min this time add red chilly and turmeric powder in tempring
  7. For maze (makki ki roti)take 200gm maze flour and make soft dough with lukewarm water and make chpati and cook it both sides and seave hot with sarso saag and buttermilk and radish salad add some butter in saag
