Ingredients to make Bread Khaja

  • 2 bread slices
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cardamom
  • oil for deep frying
  • badam and pista for garnishing

How to make Bread Khaja

  1. HEAT 1 CUP WATER, ADD 1 CRUSHED GREEN CARDAMOM, 1/2 CUP SUGAR
  2. BOIL UNTIL YOU GET A SUGAR SYRUP OF 1 THREAD CONSISTENCY, TAKE OFF HEAT & SET ASIDE
  3. TRIM THE EDGES OF 2 BREAD SLICES
  4. CUT INTO TRIANGLES
  5. DEEP FRY THE BREAD IN HOT OIL ON LOW HEAT
  6. FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP LIKE THIS
  7. DIP THE FRIED BREAD INTO THE SUGAR SYRUP FOR A FEW SECONDS & REMOVE, GARNISH WITH NUTS & SERVE
