ABOUT Fried Masala Curd with Boondi RECIPE

My mom's special dish that goes very well with dry vegetables.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Thick curd : 2 cup
  2. Onion : 1 chopped
  3. Masala boondi : 1 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Turmeric powder to taste
  6. Red chilli powder to taste
  7. Coriander powder to taste
  8. Kasuri methi : 1 tsp
  9. Dry red chilli : 2
  10. Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
  11. Garam masala powder to taste
  12. coriander leaves a handfull
  13. Cumin powder : 1/2 tsp
  14. Mustard oil : 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take thick curd in a bowl. Mix it well with a fork or spoon so that no lumps remain. It should be smooth. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a karahi. Add dry red chilli, mustard seeds. Let it splatter for a few mins.
  3. Add onions and fry till golden.
  4. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, kasuri methi and coriander powder. Mix well.
  5. Now add boondi and fry for a few mins. Now slow the flame and add curd to it. Mix well and switch off the gas.
  6. Add garam masala, cumin powder and coriander leaves. Mix well.
  7. Serve immediately.
