ABOUT Crispi Arbi RECIPE

These are very tasty savoury bites. These can be served as starters as well as a side dish with main course.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Arbi 1/2 kg
  2. Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  3. Red Chili powder 1 tsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Boil the arbi in a pressure cooker. Don't over cook.
  2. Peel the arbi. Cut into halves vertically.
  3. Apply little salt to every piece of arbi.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry arbi.
  5. When they are light brown in color remove them from the pan.
  6. Slightly press them with palm and again fry them till golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle coriander powder and red chili powder on them and mix properly.
  8. Serve hot with green coriander and mint chutney
