Colostrum contains many nutritional benefits, including proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and antibodies, which are important disease-fighting proteins produced by the immune system that attack and kill microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, parasites, and viruses. The antibody level in colostrum can be as high as 100 times the level found in regular milk!

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. one and half cup cows cheek(colostrum)
  2. One and half cup milk
  3. three fourth cup jaggery
  4. Half tsp Green cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. mix cheek ,milk ,jaggery and cardamom powder.
  2. stir continuously till all the jaggery dissolves.
  3. pour mixture in a greased plate and steam it for 20 to 25 minutes.
  4. garnish with cardamom powder and saffron( optional) and cut into square pieces .
  5. rest it to cool down completely and serve.
