When we talk about Pavbhaji , the first picture come to our mind is a plate full of Smash mixture of Few vegetables, Hot, Spicy , Butterful, Aromatic with Crunch of chpped onion and slivers of lemon ,delicious Pav's toasted in some butter n spices.The origin of Pavbhaji is Maharashtra, Mumbai, we can called its birthplace. Its a favourite street food of Mumbai especially on Chaupatis which is now spread all over the India. Nowadays it has also become a first choice of Party food, as it takes very less time to prepare and one of the tastiest dish Favourite of Kids, youngsters n everyone. So lets see how to prepare this Bombay special Pavbhaji.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2-3 Capsicum chopped
  2. 1 cup green peas
  3. 1 cup Chopped Cauliflower
  4. 250grams Boiled Potato
  5. 1 bowl Chopped Tomatoes
  6. 2 cups finely chopped Onions
  7. 2 tablespoon Pavbhaji Masala
  8. 1 Teaspoon Red chilly powder
  9. Oil as required
  10. 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. 100grams Butter
  13. 1/2cup Fined chopped Fresh Coriander leaves
  14. 1 Tablespoon GingerGarlic Paste
  15. 1 pinch of Dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  16. Pav
  17. 2 Lemon strives

Instructions

  1. First Chopped all the vegetables and Boil It.
  2. Once the Boiled veggies get Cool smash them with the masher.
  3. Now in a large pan Add some oil along with tablespoon of Butter and let it get warm on slow flame.
  4. Now add chopped onions to it and sautey till onion becomes pink.
  5. Now add chopped tomatoes and sautey for few minutes.
  6. Add Ginger garlic paste, Red chilly powder, Turmeric and pavbhaji masala and Keep stiring for few minutes, it will start realisng the oil .
  7. Now add the mixture of smash vegetables to it and salt as per taste and mash it again with masher.
  8. Cover the pan with lid and let it cook for 10-15minutes on slow flame.
  9. Remove the lid and add Chopped coriander and ( kasuri methi) dry Fenugreek leaves and switched off the flame.
  10. On a Tawa Add some butter and sprinkle some pavbhaji masala and roast the pav on it.
  11. Now Serve the Pavbhaji with hot buttery pav, Chopped onions and Lemon strives.
