ABOUT Grilled Paneer Tikka RECIPE

Your favourite snack Paneer Tikka flavoured with tangy spices. Every lavish Indian dinner party is sure to have some tikkas. Paneer, capsicum and onions marinated in a yogurt based marinade. Skewered and grilled till brown. Paneer tikka is a delicious must-have vegetarian snack at any party. A tikka recipe that will surely give you the restaurant-style Paneer Tikka that you've been craving for.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gms paneer/cottage cheese
  2. 1 large red bell pepper
  3. 1 large yellow bell pepper
  4. 1 large green bell pepper
  5. 1 large sized onion
  6. 200 gms hung curd
  7. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  8. 1/4 tsp ajwain
  9. 2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
  10. ½ tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  12. juice of half lemon
  13. 1 tbsp mustard oil
  14. 1 tbsp butter for brushing
  15. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the Paneer into thick dices, also cut the capsicums and onions into quarters.
  2. Marination : In a bowl add curd, red chili powder, chaat masala, salt to taste, mustard oil, turmeric powder,ajwain, ginger garlic paste and juice of half lemon and mix it properly.
  3. Add the slices of onions, peppers and paneer into the marination paste and leave it aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Place the paneer and veggies into the skewer.
  5. Heat some oil and butter and place the paneer tikka sticks and keep turning them until they cook from all the sides.
  6. Paneer Tikka is ready to be served !
  7. Serve Paneer Tikka with a Chutney or Salad.
