Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 1 litre
  2. Rice whole or tukda...1/4 cup
  3. Saffron...1 pinch
  4. Sugar...1/3 cup or to taste
  5. Dry fruits as per requirements
  6. Cardamom.powder 1/4 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Soak rice for an hour or so
  2. Boil milk...Add soaked rice and let it boil on very low flame
  3. Stir continuously
  4. Take care as the kheer has tendency to spill
  5. When rice iss boiled and milk gets thickens, just mash a little bit and add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and chopped dry fruits
  6. Serve chilled or hot, tastes good Transfer to serving bowl
  7. You may garnish the bowl with chopped fry fruits
