#earnwithbetterbutter.This spicy khara boondi taste awesome and can be munched at any time of the day..It tastes much better than salted boondi which you get from outside fried in low quality oil .Do try ..You can fry your choicable dry fruits,add your favourite masalad as variations and make it more tasty and healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 and 1/2 cup gram flour
  2. 1 tsp rice flour
  3. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. 1 cup peanuts
  6. 1 cup washed and dried curry leaves
  7. 1 ltr oil for frying.

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 AND 1/2 CUP FINE GRAM FLOUR(CHANA DAAL) IN A BOWL...
  2. ADD 1 TSP RICE FLOUR,1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER,1/2TSP TURMERIC POWDER IN THE GRAM FLOUR
  3. ADD REQUIRED QUANTITY OF SALT IN THE FLOUR. HERE I HAVE TAKE 1/2 TSP .
  4. MIX THE DRY FLOUR PROPERLY
  5. ADD REQUIRED WATER AND MAKE THIN FLOWING CONSISTENCY BATTER.
  6. ADD WATER IF YOUR BATTER IS THICK.
  7. FORM A LUMP FREE FREE FLOWING BATTER.
  8. CHECK YOUR BATTER CONSISTENCY WITH SPOON. IF IT FLOWS DROPLY ,THEN OK ELSE ADD MORE WATER
  9. HEAT OIL FOR FRYING. TAKE BOONDI PERFORATED LADDLE AS SHOWN.PLACE IT ABOVE WOK AT A DISTANCE OF 8CM
  10. ADD LADDLE OF FLOWING BATTER ON THE PERFORATED SPOON.SMALL BOONDIS WILL FALL DOWN IN THE OIL
  11. LET THE BOONDIS FRY TILL CRISP. IT TAKES AROUND 3-4 MINS.
  12. ONCE DONE...REMOVE FROM THE FLAME AND COLLECT IT ANOTHER VESSEL
  13. REPEAT SAME PROCESS FOR REST OF THE BATTER.IF BOONDIS ARE FLAT,YOUR BATTER IS THIN ..
  14. IF YOUR BOONDIS HAVE TAILS,THEN YOUR BATTER IS THICK.
  15. FRY 1 CUP PEANUTS IN HOT OIL
  16. ADD WASHED AND DRIED CURRY LEAVES TO THE OIL AND FRY
  17. ADD THE FRIED CRISPY CURRY LEAVES AND PEANUTS TO THE BOONDIS
  18. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER AND MIX WELL
  19. YOU CAN ADD MORE RED CHILLI POWDER IF YOU WANT TO HAVE SPICY BOONDIS..MIX WELL AND STORE IN DRY JAR
  20. KHARA BOONDIS ARE READY....
