it is a very popular Bengali snacks recepie suitable for any party.

Ingredients to make fish chop

  • fish pieces 5-6
  • chopped onion 1 medium
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
  • chopped tomato 1 medium
  • 2-3 green chillies chopped
  • coriander cumin powder 1 tablespoon
  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • italianherbs 1 teaspoon
  • boiled potato 2 nos
  • salt as per taste
  • eggs 2 nos
  • bread crumbs as required
  • chopped coriander leaves 2 tablespoon
  • oil for deep fry

How to make fish chop

  1. boil fish pieces
  2. debone them
  3. add chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped green chilli,ginger garlic paste , black pepper powder, coriander cumin powder , garam masala powder, Italian herbs and salt
  4. add turmeric powder and grated boiled potato
  5. mix them well
  6. add chopped coriander leaves
  7. heat oil in a pan. fry the mixture till they are dry and coming out of the pan
  8. cool them , make chop of your desired shape
  9. roll them on beaten egg
  10. then roll them in bread crumbs
  11. keep them in refrigerator for 3-4 hrs
  12. deep fry them till they are golden brown
  13. serve with kasundi

My Tip:

Double coat them with egg and bead crumbs for better result
