ABOUT Chicken Honey Mustard Sausages RECIPE

This is something I had at a restaurant once. I came home and tried out various permutations and combinations, and this one works all the time. The kids love it, the adults love it, and I make this fresh, just before I serve it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chicken sausages - 200 gm
  2. Freshly ground mustard powder - 2 tbsp
  3. Vegetable oil - 1 and 1/2 tbsp
  4. Butter - 1 tbsp, heaped
  5. Honey - 2 tbsp
  6. Soya sauce- 1 tbsp
  7. Chilli flakes- a pinch

Instructions

  1. Cut the sausages in 1-inch thick pieces.
  2. Smear mustard on the sausages.
  3. Heat a heavy-bottomed non-stick pan. Add the oil and butter.
  4. Add the sausages, honey, chilli flakes and soya sauce.
  5. Cook for about 12 minutes on a medium flame, till the sausages are sticky and have a dark glaze.
  6. Serve hot.
