About Veg tandoori tikka Recipe

When it comes about tikka we usually make paneer or chicken one,bt here i have made tikka with veggies which is different from the usual one can stand as a starter or appetizer!

Veg tandoori tikka

Ingredients to make Veg tandoori tikka

  • grated potato 1 large
  • Grated bottlegourd 2 tbsp
  • Grated pumpkin 2 tbsp
  • Grated coliflower 2 tbsp
  • Grated cabbage 2 tbsp
  • Grated capsicum 1 large
  • Grated carrot 1 medium
  • green chilly paste 1 tsp
  • gram flour 1/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • For Tandoori masala
  • Gramflour 4 tbsp
  • curd 4 tbsp
  • chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Kasoori methi 1 tbsp
  • red chilly flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Chat masala 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt 1/2 tsp
  • Musturd oil 3 tbsp
  • Red food colour pinch

How to make Veg tandoori tikka

  1. Wash all veggies with water properly.
  2. Grate all veggies.
  3. Ad gram flour, green chilly paste,salt.m ix ll together very well.
  4. Grease aluminum pan with oil spread this mixture evenly on it.
  5. Heat large vessel with water, put stand and keep tin over it. Cover it and cook till 10 to 12 minutes on high flame.
  6. After 10 to 12 minutes open the lid and check with knife or toothpick.
  7. Let it cool completely and then cut into square pieces.
  8. Now prepare all ingredients for tandoori masala.
  9. Mix all together well. Ad red food colour and mix well
  10. Coat veg tikka on it nicely.
  11. Now heat gas tandoor and arrange tikka pieces on it and cover with lid. Grill till 10 to 15 minutes.
  12. When done from one side flip it and again cover it till 10 to 15 minutes.
  13. When done take out on serving plate,serve hot with ketchup,onion rings,t tomato slices and lemon.
