Naankhati is also known as indian shortbread cookies and is a delicacy which is known for its soft and cookie like texture baked perfectly to enhance your taste

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups all purpose flour
  2. 3tbsp chickpea flour
  3. 4 tbsp semolina
  4. Ghee 3/4th cup
  5. Crushed elaichi powder
  6. Sugar 1& 1/2 cup as per taste
  7. Salt a pinch
  8. Baking powder 3/4th tsp
  9. Pistachio and almond for dressing

Instructions

  1. We will take ghee and sugar in a bowl and whisk it till it become smooth
  2. Now add baking powder and cardamom powder in it.
  3. Now add dry ingredients all purpose flour, chickpea flour,semolina in it and with the help of water make a soft dough
  4. Now form round shape of balls from the dough and press them a little from center.
  5. Now place some pieces of almonds and pistachio in the centre.
  6. Place them in preheated microwave in convection mode @140° for 12minutes
  7. When ready these will look like this. Enjoy your naankhatai.
