Chicken tikka biriyani is a very tasty biriyani recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2cup basmati rice.
  2. 260gm boneless chicken cubes.
  3. 1cup onion paste
  4. 1/2cup tomato paste
  5. 1tbsp ginger paste
  6. 1Tbsp garlic paste
  7. 1& 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  8. 1TBSP CUMIN POWDER
  9. 1tbsp Coriander powder
  10. 1& 1/2 tbsp biriyani masala
  11. 3 tbsp Curd
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 5/6tbsp Oil
  14. 1 pinch red food colour
  15. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  16. 1TBSP LEMON JUICE
  17. 2tbsp saffron milk
  18. 1tsp black pepper powder
  19. 2tbsp fried onion
  20. 10 Mint leaves
  21. 1tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  22. 2nos green chilies.
  23. 1tsp Kewra water
  24. 1tsp rose water
  25. 1tsp chaat masala

Instructions

  1. In a bowl at curd ginger and garlic paste.
  2. Add turmeric, red chilli, cumin ,coriander, Garam Masala, and chat masala powder.
  3. Add salt to taste and lemon juice.
  4. Add red food colour (optional )and oil & mix well.
  5. Add boneless chicken cube and mix well, & keep it on the fridge for resting
  6. In a handy at water ,when water is hot add cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom and salt.
  7. Add oil, lemon juice and mix well.
  8. Add soaked long grain rice & mix well.
  9. Once rice is ready drain the water
  10. Keep the boiled rice in a strainer.
  11. Prick the chicken in skewers.
  12. In a grill Tower at oil, once is is hot add chicken skewers.
  13. Grill the chicken both sides evenly.
  14. Once the tikka's are done take it out.
  15. Post that roast the chicken on oven.
  16. In a pan add oil, when oil is hot at cinnamon ,cloves, green cardamom and onion paste.
  17. Fry the onion paste for 2 to 3 minutes.
  18. Add the tomato paste and mix well.
  19. Add ginger and garlic paste mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  20. Add red chilli, turmeric, cumin, coriander powder.
  21. Then and little water mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  22. Add the extra chicken tikka marination in Gravy and mix well.
  23. Add half cup water and mix well.
  24. Add salt to taste garam masala powder and stir well.
  25. Add chicken tikka mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  26. After 4 minutes chicken tikka masala is ready now take it out from the pan.
  27. Now start the Biryani layering -
  28. The first layer should be with chicken tikka masala the second layer would be with rice
  29. Then aad salt to taste biryani masala black pepper powder and Saffron milk.
  30. Again the third layer with chicken tikka masala and finally layer with rice.
  31. Finally add salt to taste biryani masala, black paper powder ,Saffron milk , fried onion, chopped mint, coriander leaves & green chili.
  32. Then add kewra and rose water.
  33. Seal the pan with atta dough .
  34. Put the late from top.
  35. Keep a tawa on oven and put the food pan on it Simmer the gas and cook for 15 minutes.
  36. After 15 minutes switch of the flame.
  37. chicken tikka Biryani is ready to serve with raita.
