ABOUT Easy Meeng Paak RECIPE

This tasty magaz burfi is favourite from my dadi ma khazana, specially for Janmashtmi.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup Magaz (dried, peeled melon seeds)
  2. 1cup khoya
  3. 1/2 cup powdered sugar OR boora
  4. 1 tsp Ghee to grease the plate
  5. Cherries and cashewnuts to garnish

Instructions

  1. 	Dry roast magaz until they turn a little brown in color. Then keep them aside.
  2. sauté khoya till it gets even and slightly brown.
  3. Turn off the flame.
  4. Slightly cool khoya.
  5. Add powdered sugar or boora and mix well .
  6. Add roasted magaz to khoya.
  7. Stir the mixture to blend well.
  8. Now transfer the mixture to a greased plate, level it and keep it aside.
  9. Once the mixture gets set and becomes cool, cut it into diamond pieces.
  10. 	Arrange the pieces on a serving dish and garnish with Cherries and cashewnuts before serving .
