ABOUT Thai fried Banana RECIPE

Thai fried banana is a simple and quick dish.It is popularly known as Goreng Pisang in the asian countries like Thailand and singapore.It is essentially made from ripe bananas dipped in a flour batter, then deep fried to make it crisp.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. All purpose flour. 2 1/2cup
  2. Rice flour. 1/2cup
  3. Sugar. 2 tbsp
  4. Grated coconut. 1 tbsp
  5. Sesame seeds. 1 tsp
  6. Baking soda. 1/4 tsp
  7. Ripe bananas. 5
  8. Oil for deep fry.

Instructions

  1. In a mixxing bowl add rice flour,all purpose flour,sugar,grated coconut,roasted sesame seeds, baking soda mix properly with spoon.
  2. Add sufficient water and make a thick and almost smooth batter. The batter should be coat the back of a spoon.
  3. Peel the bananas and cut into lengthwise or round slices.
  4. Heat the pan along with oil
  5. Dip a banana slices in the prepared batter and deep fry on a medium flame till they turn into golden brown colour both sides.
  6. Drain on a paper napkin.
