ABOUT Pav Bhaji Fondue RECIPE

Perfect fondue for the chaat lover! The Pav Bhaji Fondue smartly combines veggies, cheese, cream, milk and pav bhaji masala, into a richly flavoured dip for. The combination of veggies is also such that they offer a perfect blend of crunch, tang and flavour. It is important to serve the Herb Bread and fondue fresh and hot, so that the aroma and flavour are at their best when served.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 onions finely chopped
  2. 3 small potatoes boiled and mashed
  3. 1 cup boiled vegetables (cauliflower, carrots, green peas)
  4. 1/2 capsicum finely chopped
  5. 4 tomatoes chopped
  6. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  7. lemon
  8. coriander leaves
  9. salt to taste
  10. 2 tablespoons of butter
  11. 1 teaspoon grated cheese
  12. 1-2 tablespoons of pav bhaji masala
  13. Laadi Pav

Instructions

  1. Heat some butter on a flat pan. Add chopped onions, garlic paste. Cook till the onions are brown.
  2. Add capsicum and let it cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes.
  3. Add pav bhaji masala, 1 tsp. kashmiri red chilli powder and salt. Cook the tomatoes well for 10-15 mins. Use a masher to mash the mixture.
  4. Add the boiled vegetables once the tomatoes are nicely cooked. Mash them well.
  5. Add a little water if you find the mixture thick. Mix it well again. Add coriander leaves to the mixture.
  6. Slit the breads, apply butter and warm them on the same pan. Cut into small square like shape
  7. Assembling : Take the Fondue add the Bhaji made add butter and serve hot with herbed bread.
