ABOUT Dates & Dry Fruits Bites RECIPE

This healthiest sweet (my mother's trick, when I hated eating plain nuts) is now the best one to replace any outside sweets to grace your festivals or any special occasions without making you feel guilty.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chopped Seedless Dates - 200 grams
  2. Ghee - 2 teaspoons
  3. Desiccated Coconut - 50 grams
  4. Mixed Dry Fruits (Almonds and cashews- finely chopped) - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat the ghee in heavy bottomed pan and add dry fruits. Roast it lightly on low flame.
  2. Then add desiccated coconut and mix well.
  3. Once mixed thoroughly add chopped dates and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Now switch off the flame and mix it well again. Once it becomes warm to touch, make 4 small logs.
  5. Wrap these logs in greased cling film individually and refrigerate them for half an hour.
  6. Now remove the cling wrap and roll these logs on the desiccated coconut plate so that they are coated well with it.
  7. Now cut them in the desired thickness. Your healthy bites are ready.
