Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. **Ingredients for Locho Burger :
  2. Chanadal - 250 gm
  3. Burger buns - 6
  4. Soaked poha - 1/4 cup
  5. Besan - 3 tbsp
  6. Green chutney - 2 tbsp
  7. Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
  8. Tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
  9. Chopped onion and capsicum - 3 tbsp
  10. Green chilli and ginger paste - 4 tbsp
  11. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  12. Hing - 1/2 tsp
  13. Eno - 1 sachet
  14. Lukewarm oil - 2 tbsp
  15. Salt - 1 tsp
  16. Grated cheese - 3 to 4 cubes
  17. ** Ingredients for locho masala :
  18. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  19. Black salt - 1/2 tsp
  20. Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  21. Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a mixer jar take all the ingredients of locho masala and grind it..
  2. Soak chanadal for 4 - 5 hours. Then grind it with soaked poha .
  3. Add besan into chanadal misran and again rest it for 4 hours.
  4. Now add green chilli and ginger paste , turmeric powder , hing , lukewarm oil and salt in to chanadal batter. Mix it well.
  5. In the steamer put water to boil. Grease dhokla dish with oil.
  6. Add eno in the batter and mix it well.
  7. Pour batter in the dhokla dish. Steam it for 15 mins.
  8. Cut the burger buns. Apply green chutney , mayonnaise and tomato ketch up on both the sides.
  9. Put locho on one side.
  10. Put chopped onion and capsicum on locho.
  11. Add grated cheese on both the sides of burger buns. Sprinkle locho masala on both the sides.
  12. Put this buns in preheated oven for 7 to 8 mins.
  13. Cover the locho with another side of bun.
  14. Served with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
