About Chapati Noodles Recipe

It's an Indian and Chinese fusion food. It could be a healthy tiffin or great lunch.

Chapati Noodles

Ingredients to make Chapati Noodles

  • Left over chapati or roti - 6-7
  • oil - 4-5 tbsp
  • Green chilli (slited or chopped) - 2-3
  • onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Clove of garlic - 3-4 (finely chopped)
  • Preferable season veggies (like carrot, cabbage, cauliflower, beans, capsicum, green peas) - little bit (chopped)
  • tomato sauce - 4-5 tbsp
  • chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  • salt - as per your taste
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Chopped spring onions - one handful (optional)

How to make Chapati Noodles

  1. Place all the chapaties on top of each other on a flat surface.
  2. Roll them tightly. (If you like you can roll a single or 2-3 chapaties at a time)
  3. Cut thin strips with a sharp knife.
  4. Set aside the chapati strips on a plate.
  5. Cut, wash and drain all of your preferable veggies and place them on a plate.
  6. Place a frying pan over medium heat and add oil.
  7. When oil is hot enough add garlic and chilli.
  8. When the raw smell will gone from garlic, then add onions.
  9. Saute for a minute and add the veggies one by one.
  10. Add salt and cook until veggies get bit soft but still crunchy.
  11. Add chapati strips and all of the sauces and mix well.
  12. Sprinkle lemon juice and spring onions and switch off the flame and tossed.
  13. Enjoy!!

My Tip:

1. Can make with fresh chapati or roti. 2. Cooked Boneless chicken or fried egg or scrumbled egg could be add.
