Spicy pomfret fish fry

Pomfret Masala fry

Ingredients to make Pomfret Masala fry

  • Pomfret fish. Whole and cleaned
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp onion tomato paste
  • 1tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 2 tbsp rawa / bread crumb
  • oil for frying

How to make Pomfret Masala fry

  1. Wash the fish and make slit in the fish.
  2. Apply lime juice, Salt and turmeric powder. Keep Aside for 10 minutes
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, onion tomato paste, coriander leaves, spices into the fish. Keep aside for 20 minutes
  4. Heat oil in pan. Coat the marinated fish in rice flour and rawa or bread crumbs. Fry till golden from both sides.
  5. Garnish with coriander. Serve hot
