Delicious biryani recipe prepared in a coffee cup

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 3/4 cup basmati rice
  2. 3 to 4 tablespoon shredded boneless chicken pieces
  3. 1 small sized onion,thinly sliced
  4. 1 small sized tomato, chopped
  5. 1 small sized green chilly, slit
  6. 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  7. 1 teaspoon curd
  8. 1 teaspoon biryani masala
  9. 1 tablespoons coriander leaves
  10. 1 tablespoon mint leaves
  11. 1 tablespoon ghee
  12. 1/2 bay leaf, 1 cardamom, 1 clove, 1 small stick cinnamon
  13. Salt, as required
  14. 3 tablespoon Chappathi flour
  15. 1 coffee cup

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add a leaf cardamom cinnamon and clove
  2. add sliced onions and fry until golden brown
  3. add tomato coriander leaf mint leaf green chili and curd
  4. when they mashes well add biryani masala and chicken. Cook for few minutes
  5. Add water if required. Turn off the flame
  6. Cook basmati rice until it is 3/4th done. Strain and discard the water. Keep the rice aside.
  7. Take a coffee mug and spread a layer of prepared masala.
  8. Then top it with a layer of basmati rice.
  9. Repeat the procedure for two more times.
  10. Add little water to Chappathi flour and knead well
  11. Seal the mug with Chappathi dough.
  12. Cook in preheated oven for 20 min at 180 C
  13. When done, remove the seal and serve hot with raita
