Besan when cooked and sauted in oil becomes so tasty to eat. Kids like to eat without gravy as well. I made this sabji without onion garlic so that the taste of besan is enhanced and goes well for children.

TAKE BESAN IN A KADHAI
ADD HALDI
PEPPER POWDER
CHILLI POWDER
AND SALT
NOW ADD SUFFICIENT WATER TO FORM PASTE
MIX PROPERLY TO AVOID LUMPS
SWITCH ON THE FLAME AND START STIRRING
IT WILL START GETTING THICK
COOK TILL RAW AROMA VANISHES
GREASE A PLATE WITH OIL
TAKE THE COOKED BESAN AND MAKE A ROLL
DIVIDE THE ROLL INTO 5 PARTS
MAKE ROLL OF EACH PART
AND ALLOW IT TO SET FOR 20 MIN
MEANWHILE, TAKE HALDI, CHILLI, CORIANDER AND PEPPER POWDER IN A BOWL. ADD TOMATOES
WHEN THE ROLL IS SET, START CUTTING FROM ONE END
HEAT OIL IN A PAN, STIR FRY THEM
STIR FRY FOR 5 MIN TILL THEY TURN CRISPY
KEEP THEM ASIDE
IN THE PAN, HEAT OIL, ADD CUMIN SEEDS, BAY LEAF AND RED CHILLI
NOW ADD THE MASALA MIXTURE
AND COOK FOR 5 MIN , ADD SALT
ADD WATER AND SOME BESAN WHICH REMAINED STICKED IN THE PAN. THIS MAKES THE GRAVY THICK
TRANSFER THE BESAN IN THE GRAVY. ALLOW 1 BOIL
