Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina 1 cup
  2. Eno i satchet
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Curd 1 cup
  5. Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Mustard (Rai) 1/2 tsp
  7. Curry leaves 10-12
  8. Coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Take one cup semolina add one cup curd to it .
  2. Add salt and little turmeric . Add little water to make a batter like consistency.
  3. In a large saucepan, keep water for boiling
  4. Add one sachet Eno to the curd mixture, pour onto a dhokla thali (or any greased thali) and immediately keep for steaming on the boiling water and cover.
  5. It will take 10 minutes to cook.
  6. In a pan heat oil. Add the mustard, let it crackle. Add in the curry leaves and turn off the gas. Add on top of the dhokla
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Did I do something wrong as my Dhokla was not so soft. Can you tell me what I could have done wrong ?
