ABOUT Murabba Panna Cotta RECIPE

An innovative fusion dessert made with murabba.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup milk
  2. 1 cup cream (i used amul)
  3. 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  4. 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  5. 1/2 tsp rosewater
  6. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  7. 1 tbsp gelatin dissolved in warm water
  8. Rose petals for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take 3-4 pieves of murabba, chop them and make a smooth puree of it.
  2. Heat a pan add milk and let it come to boil, add cream, vanilla extract. Mix well and boil for few seconds.
  3. Switch off the flame and let it cool down for few minutes.
  4. Add murabba puree, rose water, cardamom powder and gelatin dissolved in warm water.
  5. Mix everything till well combined.
  6. Pour the prepared mixture in glasses or some moulds.
  7. Keep in refrigerator for 3-4 hours or till it sets.
  8. Once done add some chopped pieces of murabba, sliced almonds and rose petals. Serve chilled!
