Instant Paneer Jalebi

Ingredients to make Instant Paneer Jalebi

  • Crumbled cheese -1 cup
  • maida-1/4th cup
  • Milk-2 tbsp
  • For syrup: sugar-2 cup
  • water-1 cup
  • cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
  • Desi ghee to fry

How to make Instant Paneer Jalebi

  1. Take the paneer and mash it for 2 minutes until it becomes smooth and soft in texture.
  2. Add maida at this time and again mash with hands for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Now add milk and mash for 1-2 minutes again until its soft and creamy.
  4. Keep aside and make the syrup by adding sugar and water and cardamom powder in the pan.
  5. Let it boil enough till it get the one thread- like consistency when checked between the thumb and first finger.
  6. Switch off the flame after the syrup is made. But dont let the syrup cool. Warm it after 2-3 minutes on low at times till all jalebis are fried .
  7. Now in a kadai add enough of desi ghee to fry jalebis.
  8. Heat it on full flame and then turn to medium- low flame while frying to get crispy jalebis.
  9. Now pour the paneer batter in a home made plastic bag cone and start frying in roundels.
  10. The jalebi because of paneer immediately turns golden dark brown. Keep a vigil while frying so that jalebis dont get burn.
  11. After frying put jalebis in sugar syrup for 30 seconds and take out.
  12. The crispy delicious paneer jalebi is ready to serve.

My Tip:

Colour can also be added to make coloured jalebi of your own choice.
