RASMALAI

Ingredients to make RASMALAI

  • 1. Milk  -  1 litre      
  • 2. sugar  -  1/4 cup
  • 3. Condensed milk  -  1/2 cup
  • 4. Milk powder  -  1 cup
  • 5. Baking powder  -  3/4 tspn
  • 6. butter  -  1 tbspn
  • 7. egg  -  1
  • 8. Vanilla essence  -  1/4 tspn
  • 9. saffron    
  • 10. cashews

How to make RASMALAI

  1. Boil milk and sugar in a pan.
  2. Reduce the flame when it starts to boil .
  3. Add condensed milk and keep boiling on low flame.
  4.  In a bowl add milk powder and baking powder and mix well.
  5. To this add butter and egg. Knead to soft dough. Make small balls out of it.
  6. Put it into the boiling milk and cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
  7. Add vanilla essence and a pinch saffron and remove from fire. Top it with cashews.
