Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ghee - 1 teaspoon
  2. Cinnamon sticks- 1
  3. Bay leaf - 1
  4. Cloves - 2
  5. Shallots- 25 nos
  6. Garlic - 7
  7. Fresh Peas - 1 cup
  8. Ginger garlic paste- 2 teaspoon
  9. Green chillies - 3
  10. Coconut - 3 teaspoon
  11. Raw rice - 1 cup
  12. Salt - as needed
  13. Coconut milk - 2 cup
  14. Water - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Wash the raw rice properly and keep it aside.
  2. Prepare 2 glasses of coconut milk and set aside.
  3. Slit the green chillies and set aside.
  4. Grind 8 shallots, ginger garlic paste and coconut together to a smooth paste using mixie jar.keep aside.
  5. Take a cooker, add oil and ghee.
  6. Add cinnamon stick, bay leaf, cloves and saute for a minute.
  7. Add shallots , green chillies and garlic . Saute till it turns translucent.
  8. Add peas and saute well.
  9. Add grounded paste and mix well. Saute it till raw smell goes away.
  10. Add raw rice .mix well.
  11. Add needed salt, coconut milk and water.
  12. Close the lid and allow it to cook for 3 whistles.
  13. Open it and serve hot with potato chips.
