ABOUT GULKAND GULAB KHAAS RECIPE

I give this recipie a fusion touch by stuffing rose petal jam ,it is perfect for any festive occasion

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. For the balls ---homemade paneer or chena 2 cups
  2. Sweetened condensed milk 1 cup
  3. Rooh afza syrup 3 tablespoons
  4. milk powder 1.5 cups
  5. For the stuffing -- Gulkand (rose petal jam) 3 tablespoons
  6. almonds(finely chopped) 1tablespoon
  7. pistachio (finely chopped )1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. take dried chena (paneer) in a plate and crumble it
  2. Add condensed milk
  3. add Rooh afza syrup
  4. mix it well
  5. now add milk powder and transfer this mixture into a mixture jar and pulse until combined
  6. this mixture will come together like a soft dough
  7. Allow the mixture to rest for 15 minutes in the refrigerator
  8. meanwhile mix the dry fruits together
  9. add Gulkand to it
  10. combine them together
  11. the dough will become firm when cooled
  12. after the resting time knead the mixture for a couple of minutes and it will become smooth
  13. now take small portion from the dough and give it a ball shape
  14. now take a ball and flatten it and place the stuffing in the centre
  15. bring all the edges together and fold to form a ball again
  16. repeat the process and make rest of the balls from the dough
  17. now they are ready to serve
