ABOUT Italian Biryani RECIPE

Baked Italian Biryani, My innovation, Fusion of Biryani with Italian Flavourings and Topped with Cheese & lastly baked for some time .. has come out Perfect and SuperYum . In our country, Biryani is all time favourite main course on any special occasions. Today,I am presenting my innovation in Videshi mein Desi tadaka by preparing Biryani in Italian style. I have used Mixed Veggies,Italian seasonings for flavour and made cheesy white sauce. Prepared Rice and then given layerings and lastly baked for few minutes. It has come out Awesomely Delicious.Try out this recipe , I am sure you gonna love it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Long grain basmati rice 2 cups
  2. APF or maida 1 tablespoon
  3. Mozerella cheese grated 3-4 tablespoons
  4. Olive oil or butter 2-3 tablespoons
  5. Black pepper crushed 1 teaspoon
  6. Chilli flakes 1 teaspoon
  7. Mixed herbs 1 teaspoon
  8. Finely chopped onion 1 tablespoon
  9. Finely chopped tomatoes 1 cup
  10. Finely chopped carrot 1 tablespoon
  11. Corn kernels 1 tablespoon
  12. Crushed garlic 4 teaspoons
  13. Fried cashew nuts 10-15 for garnishing
  14. Few mint leaves for garnishing
  15. Cold milk 1 glass
  16. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Grated cheese, crushed black pepper, chilli flakes and mixed herbs
  2. Wash basmati rice and soak in 4 cups of water for about 10 minutes
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of oliveoil and pinch of salt in rice and cook parboiled ( little kachha or Al Dante')
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan and roast Maida for 2 to 3 minutes Add 1 glass milk, 2 tsp crushed garlic,black pepper,mixed herbs and mix well Cook on low flame and stir consistently to avoid lump After sometime, it will start boiling then add 1 tablespoon of grated Cheese and adjust salt too . Switch off heat, White sauce is ready.
  5. For veggies, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add crushed garlic and all the finely chopped vegetables
  6. Saute' till little soft
  7. Now add crushed black pepper, mixed herbs and salt according to taste, mix everything well and keep it aside
  8. For layering of Italian Biryani, take a microwave safe dish , grease it with some oil and spread a layer of parboiled rice on bottom
  9. Now spread a layer of cooked veggies
  10. Now spread a layer of white sauce
  11. Repeat this process 2-3 times
  12. And lastly, cover it with all the remaining white sauce and grated cheese
  13. Sprinkle some chilli flakes, mixed herbs and crushed black pepper on top
  14. Cover the dish with lid and microwave for 10 minutes on low heat ( temperature)
  15. Take out dish , garnish it with some fried cashew nuts and mint leaves
  16. Serve hot immediately cheesilicious yummy Italian Biryani
  17. Enjoy endlessly with family and friends
