ABOUT Tikhat Mithcha Sheera RECIPE

Tikhat mithacha sheera, which literally means salty halva or sheera or masaledar Upma, is a traditional Maharashtrian breakfast, which is little different from South Indian Upma. In this preparation we don't use sugar, but use turmeric and red chilli powder, which gives it a unique beautiful golden colour .We use tender coconut while cooking, altogether makes its very yummy . It is very easy to make and good for all ages, do try.
