Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Poha (flattened rice)2 cups
  2. potato 2
  3. onion 2
  4. Green peas 1/2 cup
  5. Green chilli 2-3
  6. coriander leaves a handful
  7. lemon 1
  8. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  9. red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  10. salt to taste
  11. Musturd seeds 1 tsp
  12. peanuts 1 tbsp roasted
  13. fennel seeds 1 tsp
  14. curry leaves a handful
  15. sugar 1-11/2 tsp


  1. Wash poha (flattened rice)
  2. Heat oil in a pan add musturd seeds, fennel seeds and let it crackle
  3. Add chopped green chilli and curry leaves
  4. Add potato and onion,green peas, let it cook till soft
  5. Add spices and salt.add roasted peanuts in it.
  6. Add poha ,mix it nicely
  7. Cover the pan and steam the poha
  8. Add sugar and again cover it till it's dissolved
  9. Add lemon juice coriander leaves
  10. Enjoy delicious healthy poha
