Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Malai 3 cups
  2. Water 1/2 - 1 cup


  1. Take a mixer and add malai in it. Stir it with the help of adding a little water so that it gets blended properly.
  2. After 3-4 rounds the malai will become hard. Take it out in a kadhai. This is also called homemade unsalted butter.
  3. Turn on the gas and put the kadhai on it. Butter will starts turn into liquid and froth will begin appearing.
  4. Stir occasionally so that it will not stick to the bottom.
  5. After 10-15 minutes we will see milk solids appear at the bottom of the kadhai (golden color).
  6. After a few more minutes, clear ghee can be seen.
  7. Turn off the gas and let it cool. Strain to a glass jar.
  8. Ghar ka Ghee is ready.
