ABOUT Pancakes RECIPE

Pancakes are typical “on -the- go” American breakfast recipe. It can be altered in many different ways. Serving it with frozen chilled fruits and maple syrup only adds a whole new way to enjoy this simple breakfast recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup all purpose/plain flour
  2. 250 mili litres milk
  3. 2 tablespoon sugar
  4. 1 large egg
  5. 2 teaspoon baking powder
  6. 2 tablespoon melted butter and more needed to cook
  7. Handful of frozen fruits of your choice
  8. 4-5 tablespoon of maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, salt,baking powder and sugar
  2. in another large bowl, whisk the eggs well
  3. add the milk and butter once done and whisk all the ingredients well
  4. now add the sieved dry ingredients into the wet and combine well with a laddle or spoon(do not overmix)
  5. now heat a skillet or girdle well and add 1 tablespoon melted butter
  6. for each pancake, add 2-3 tablespoons of batter onto the skillet
  7. cook on Low heat till the surface shows some air bubbles
  8. flip carefully using a spatula and cook for another minute or two on the other side or till light brown
  9. serve warm with fruits and maple syrup
