Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 kg chicken cut into medium pieces
  2. 12 onions sliced long
  3. 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  4. 1/2 cup ginger garlic paste freshly ground
  5. 5 to 6 green chillies slit
  6. 1 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  7. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1 tbsp garam masala
  9. 10 to 15 curry leaves
  10. Oil for frying
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with salt , ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a heavy bottom pan, add oil, chopped tomatoes, green chillies and saute for 2 minutes then add the chicken to it. Keep on a medium flame.
  3. In another pan heat some oil in it. Add curry leaves, onions, salt and saute. Fry the onions till crispy then add garam masala to it.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, add onions. Mix well, add salt if required. Cook this on a low flame for 3 more minutes. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
