Palak Pakora

Ingredients to make Palak Pakora

  • 3 cup chopped palak
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • half cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 cup besan
  • half cup rice powder
  • oil for deep frying
  • salt as needed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 chopped green chilli
  • one teapoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • water as needed

How to make Palak Pakora

  1. WASH, DRAIN 250 GMS SPINACH LEAVES, ROUGHLY CHOP INTO 1 INCH STRIPS
  2. ADD 2 TBSP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES, 1/4 CUP SLICED ONIONS
  3. ADD 3/4 TSP EACH OF CRUSHED GINGER-GARLIC & CORIANDER POWDER
  4. ADD SALT & RED CHILLI POWDER TO TASTE
  5. ADD 1 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI, MIX WELL & SET ASIDE FOR 10 MINS
  6. ADD 2 TBSP GRAM FLOUR
  7. ADD 3 TBSP RICE FLOUR, MIX WELL
  8. THE MIXTURE SHOULD BE STIFF & NOT SOGGY, ADJUST BY ADDING MORE WATER OR FLOUR AS REQUIRED
  9. THE PAKORA BATTER IS READY
  10. DEEP FRY SMALL BALLS OF BATTER IN HOT OIL
  11. FRY ON MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP ON ALL SIDES
  12. ONCE DONE, DRAIN ON TISSUE PAPER
  13. SERVE HOT WITH KETCHUP
