About Rainbow dhokla Recipe

Dhokla needs no introduction.it is a breakfast dish of gujrat to which everybody love in India .Today i make rainbow dhokla hope you all will love them. I make them with vegetables without adding artificial colours.beet,palak,carrot,haldi,purple cabbage and white.

Rainbow dhokla

Ingredients to make Rainbow dhokla

  • 1 cup Suji
  • One fourth Cup besan
  • 1 cup curd
  • one teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • one fourth Cup beet puree
  • One fourth Cup palak Puree
  • One teaspoon haldi
  • one fourth Cup carrot puree
  • One fourth cup purple cabbage puree
  • 1 sachet of eno
  • for tempering----
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon hing
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 5 split green chillies
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves

How to make Rainbow dhokla

  1. take besan Suji salt and sugar in a bowl
  2. Add oil and curd
  3. mix all of them finely
  4. and keep it for 20 minutes to set
  5. divide battar in 6 parts
  6. Take 1 puree and add it in one part of battar
  7. Just like that add every puree in other parts of battar
  8. one part will remain and we keep it white
  9. take eno and add it equally in every battar
  10. Add salt in every colour
  11. grease a Dhokla tray and add one by one each battar
  12. cook Dhokla in a steamer for 20 minutes
  13. when they cook let them cool a little
  14. Make tampering with given ingredients
  15. Garnish with coriander leaves
  16. Serve with sauce or chutney
