ABOUT Punukulu RECIPE

It is a south indian dish and it is very easy to make and serve it with coconut chutney

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Idli Batter - 1 Cup
  2. soda - 1 pinch
  3. Salt - 1 pinch
  4. Red chilli powder - 1 pinch
  5. Jeera - 1/2 tsp
  6. Rava - 1/2 Tbsp
  7. Onion chppped-1
  8. Oil - for frying
  9. Green chillies -2

Instructions

  1. Take the idli batter in a mixing bowl 
  2. Add salt, jeera, onion, Green chilli,red chilli powder, soda
  3. Mix well
  4. Add ravva if needed add water
  5. Now heat oil in a kadai
  6. Add the punukulu into oil and fry until they are golden brown
