Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 cups powdered cashew nuts
  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 1 tbsp powdered cardamom
  5. 2 tbsp ghee

Instructions

  1. In a hot wok put sugar and add water to it.
  2. As the sugar dissolves add the powdered cashew nuts to it and keep stirring.
  3. As the batter starts thickening add powdered cardamom and gradually add ghee.
  4. After adding ghee the batter will start leaving the utensil. Switch off the flame
  5. Put the batter onto a greased plate and keep mixing it so it cools down soon without sticking to the plate
  6. When the batter cools down keep it over greased butter paper on a flat surface.
  7. Flatten it with the help of a greased rolling pin till u achieve the desired thickness of the barfi.
  8. Cut with a knife in diamond shape. Keep aside
  9. After it cools down completely remove from the butter paper and store in a air tight container.
