This pav bhaji is lipsmacking and is made of vegetables and easy way of making kids eat vegetables.along with it pav is served and sweet tamarind Chutey

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Sliced Potatoes -2
  2. Cauliflower -1 cup
  3. Capsicum-1
  4. Sliced Carrot-2
  5. Boiled Peas -1/2 cup
  6. Chopped Onion-1
  7. Chopped tomatoes-3
  8. Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  9. Red chilli powder(one which gives colour not the chilly one)-1tsp
  10. Chopped Green chilli(optional)-1
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Pav bhaji masala -2.5 tsp
  13. Butter/oil -1/2 cup
  14. Pinch of orange red food colour optional.
  15. Water
  16. Lemon slices-5
  17. Pav -10 pieces
  18. Chopped onion -1 to garnish
  19. Sweet Tamarind chutney


  1. Firstly pressure cook potatoes ,carrot,cauliflower with 2cup water for 3 whistles.
  2. Take a pan or tawa .place 2 tbsp butter.add chopped capsicum ,saute for some time
  3. Next add tomatoes,cook till they get soft then with help of hand masher,mash it.
  4. Next add boiled veggies to it.keep its water aside
  5. Now again mash it and mix well
  6. Take them out in plate.
  7. In same pan again heat butter 2 tbsp
  8. Add chopped onion to it.saute it
  9. Then add ginger garlic paste,green chilli,red chilli powder ,pav bhaiji masala,salt.mix well.
  10. Then add veggies mix that we kept at side.
  11. Mix all ,add little water in which veggies were boiled.arrange the consistency of it as per taste. Can add colour if not using red chilli for colour.
  12. On top add boiled peas
  13. Serve it with buttered pav,onion,chutney and butter
