Ingredients to make Wheat upma

  • 1 cup wheat ravva
  • 1onion chopped
  • 2 tomotoes chopped
  • 4green chilli chopped
  • 1spoon musterd seeds
  • 1spoon chanadal
  • 1spoon cashews
  • 1spoon jinger
  • 4spoons oil
  • salt as required
  • Curry leaved 10
  • water 3 Cups

How to make Wheat upma

  1. In a pan heat oil.add musterdseeds,cumin seeds along with chana dal fry till the champadam begin to brown a bit.add cashews.
  2. Now add the finally chopped onions,green chilly,ginger curry leaves stir and a minute.
  3. Add 3 cups water to this mixture add salt,tumeric as required.
  4. Stir well.on medium to high flame heat the water and let it come to rolling and boiling .
  5. Add the rava and stiring.cover and allow the rava upma to steam for 2 minutes an the low flame.
  6. Then switch of the flame.the upma is ready.
  7. Serve upma with curry leaves powder,any pickle and chutneys.
