Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Palak 1 kg
  2. Garlic 5-7 buds
  3. Tomatoes 3-4 medium
  4. Haldi powder a pinch
  5. Dhania powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Lal mirch powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Namak as required
  8. Water for boiling
  9. Jeera 1 tsp
  10. Hing a pinch
  11. Rai 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash palak thoroughly and add it to the pressure cooker. Add in tomatoes and garlic.
  2. Add a little water and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Then let it cool.
  3. Once cool, transfer into a blender and blend till you get a smooth paste.
  4. In a deep wok, add oil, jeera, hing and rai. Pour in the palak puree and cook till it boils.
  5. Add in the paneer pieces and cook for a few more minutes. You can fry the paneer pieces before adding them.
  6. Serve hot with chapati.
