Sundrop Peanut Butter Khandvi

Ingredients to make Sundrop Peanut Butter Khandvi

  • Fine gram flour 1 cup
  • Sour buttermilk 3 cup full
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • hing 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Crushed chilli paste 1 tsp
  • For stuffing :-
  • peanut butter 1/2 cup
  • lemon juice 1/2 lemon
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • For tadka :-
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • hing 1/2 tsp
  • sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  • For garnish :-
  • Grated coconut 1tsp
  • pomegranate pearls 1 tbsp

How to make Sundrop Peanut Butter Khandvi

  1. TAKE 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR, ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF ASAFOETIDA & SALT, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  2. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF GINGER-GREEN CHILLI PASTE, 3 CUPS SOUR BUTTERMILK
  3. WHISK WELL TO MAKE A SMOOTH, FLOWY BATTER
  4. POUR THE BATTER INTO HOT NONSTICK PAN, STIR CONTINUOUSLY & COOK
  5. THE MIXTURE WILL START THICKENING LIKE THIS, STIR & COOK ON LOW HEAT FOR 7-8 MINS
  6. CHECK THE BATTER BY SPREADING IT ON THE BACK OF A PLATE, IT IS NOW READY TO SPREAD
  7. POUR THE BATTER ON A FLATE SURFACE, SPREAD IT EVENLY LIKE THIS
  8. ALLOW IT TO COOL FOR 2-3 MINS
  9. FOR THE STUFFING : TAKE SUNDROP PEANUT BUTTER
  10. TAKE 1/2 CUP PEANUT BUTTER, ADD 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE, 1/4 TSP SALT
  11. MIX INTO A SMOOTH PASTE, SET ASIDE
  12. MARK THE COOLED KHANDVI SHEET WITH CUTS
  13. ADD SOME READY PEANUT BUTTER MIX ON TOP, SPREAD IT EVENLY TO COVER THE SHEET
  14. SPRINKLE A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER & GRATED COCONUT, NOW START ROLLING THE KHANDVI
  15. GET ALL THE ROLLS READY LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE
  16. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, 1 TBSP SESAME SEEDS, 4-5 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  17. POUR THIS TADKA ON THE KHANDVI ROLLS
  18. SPRINKLE A HANDFUL OF GRATED COCONUT & POMEGRANATE SEEDS ON TOP, SERVE
